Intense Pulse Light Therapy

I’m seriously considering taking up Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Photorejuvenation Therapy for my face again, after a lapse of more than half a year. I think it might help to tighten my enlarged pores.

It was a mistake on my part to have stopped the treatment really. I had seen some glowing results but after a year on the program, the results became consistent and I became bored. My skin wasn’t getting better than it already was so I thought perhaps I should just save my moolah and try out new products instead. Moreover, I hated going for the sessions each time and my fave doc is no longer available.

For those who don’t know, IPL is a non-invasive skin restoration treatment that erases the damage inflicted on your skin from sun, aging and biological factors. The technology supplies a broad spectrum of light which reaches deep down within the skin, targeting pigment and vascular imperfections to deliver a more even skin color and texture. Though the results are not as dramatic as laser treatment, the advantage of IPL therapy is its minimal downtime.
